Explosives

Substances or objects that present a risk of explosion.

Grenades, ammunition, incendiary devices, Christmas crackers, gunpowder, items for fireworks, flares, among others.

Gases

Flammable, non-flammable and toxic gases.

Compressed oxygen, nitrogen, aerosols, butane, methane, lighters, helium and propane.

Flammable liquids

Liquid substances that emanate flammable vapors at certain temperatures.

Alcohols, aldehydes, gasoline, diesel fuel, paint and paint thinner.

Flammable solids

Substances that react to friction, spontaneously and/or with water.

Phosphorus, sodium, lithium, potassium, unprocessed cotton.

Oxidizing substances and organic peroxides

Substances which may release oxygen, cause combustion or react with other substances.

Compressed oxygen, hydrogen peroxide (oxygenated water), benzoyl peroxide.

Toxic and infectious substances

Substances that can cause death when inhaled, ingested or enter into contact with skin. Microorganisms that can cause diseases.

Cyanide, chlorine, potassium fluoroacetate, blood samples, bacteria, fungi and viruses.

Radioactive material

Elements that emit ionizing radiation (X-rays, alpha, beta and gamma rays).

Barium-133, Cobalt-55, Iodine-123, Indium-111 and radiopharmaceuticals.

Corrosive substances

Substances that due to their chemical action may cause damage to tissue or surfaces.

Acids and alkalis: sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium and potassium hydroxide and hypochlorite.

Dangerous substances and goods

Objects and substances that during transport present a danger not covered in any other class.

Parts or spare parts with fuel vapor, dry ice, lithium batteries, magnetized material, substances that are harmful to the environment.
